Joe recommends: Black Coast blend hardcore, grunge and nu-metal on masterfully crafted track “Mercy“. If this is a sign of what is to come from Black Coast‘s upcoming self-titled EP, the Stoke based band could be set to be one of the UK’s breakout acts of 2023.
Full Of Hell & Primitive Man – Rubble Home (Single)

Dobbin recommends: A surprise collaboration between the most blistering power-violence project (Full of Hell) and the most turgid [complimentary] noise-sludge band (Primitive Man). “Rubble Home” quite literally sounds like both bands playing at once, occupying the same claustrophobic space, inches from each other’s amplifiers. The feedback is revolting. Likely not to everyone’s taste, but this makes me grin like a madman.

Harry recommends: Equally chunky and catchy, progressive metal outfit Marked;Life hone in on their sound with “Critical Hit”. Moving from frenetic riffs through gritty nu vocals to a melodic section accompanied by comforting cleans and some tasty saxophone, it’s a fluid track which will have you on your toes throughout.

Max recommends: Sleep Token yet again bless us with the first in the second round of singles from their purported third studio album, Take Me Back To Eden, with “Granite“. A swaggering blend of textured synths, impassioned vocals and groovy eight-string guitars, “Granite” proves that the hype that ensued following their last two singles was no fluke.
