After initially sharing the details of their sophomore record, Symptoms of Survival, Dying Wish have released the second single from the record, titled “Watch My Promise Die“. This follows on from their single “Torn From Your Silhouette“, which released earlier this year in April.
Set to release this coming November, Symptoms of Survival will continue what has been a busy year for Dying Wish. They’ve been touring alongside Counterparts and Kublai Khan TX across the UK and Europe, as well as performing at the likes of LDB fest. Dying Wish‘s line-up also saw the addition of bassist Jon Mackey, who also became a recent addition to Moodring.
For their production, engineering, mixing, and mastering work, Dying Wish return to the well-known Randy LeBoeuf. This year he has already worked on the recent Jesus Piece, Chamber and The Acacia Strain Records. The artwork comes from Paul Romano, who also drew the award-nominated artwork for the Mastodon record, Hushed and Grim.
Today’s big reveal has been the unveiling of the vinyl and the merchandise for Symptoms of Survival. The vinyl spread includes seven different vinyl, split across the US and UK/EU, and one tour exclusive which is limited to 500.
