Make Them Suffer Confirm New Release, Tour and Bonus Track

Since their release “Contrabrand” featuring Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox, the Aussie outfit Make Them Suffer have been fairly quiet. However this past Saturday they revealed on Twitter that ahead of their debut record, Neverbloom, reaching it’s 10th anniversary they have plenty planned. One of these being a re-release of the iconic deathcore record with a vinyl of it being released, plus a lone bonus track which is their heaviest since 2019’s “Hollowed Heart“. All this will then be followed on by a new release from the group, which is expected to be a single from their album due out this year.

Slowdive Begin Work On LP5

Shoegaze veterans Slowdive have confirmed they have entered the studio to begin work on their fifth record. 2017 saw the last release from the unit, when they release their self-titled featuring tracks such as “Sugar for the Pill” and “Star Roving“. This came after the group reformed in 2014, with the self-titled’s release coming 22-years after 1995’s Pygmalion. This upcoming record’s name and release date are yet to be confirmed.

Modern Error, TheCityIsOurs, Polaris and Vein.fm Confirm UK Dates

With pandemic restrictions beginning to lift, bands locally and globally have began to make plans to perform live in the UK. After having to pull out of the London date on the recent Loathe tour, Modern Error will be performing in Camden’s Black Heart on the 22nd March. Love Is Noise will also be performing at the famed pub on the following Sunday, the 27th. TheCityIsOurs will be performing their sophomore album Coma in full down the road at Underworld on the 23rd of April. Two huge headliners from Polaris and Vein.fm will be hitting the UK in September and June respectively, with Polaris having seen their The Death of Me tour cancelled in 2020. Polaris will be bringing fellow Aussie’s Alpha Wolf, Gravemind and Stepson with them, seeing them perform at London’s Electric Brixton and Manchester’s Academy 2 among a host of UK dates. Vein.fm have chosen Higher Power and Drain to support them, with them camping out at the aforementioned Underworld for three nights between the 27th and 29th of June after they perform at Outbreak Festival in Manchester.
