Intensified and electrified with untameable vigour following the release of CHRONICLES I: LUST in October 2021, barbarically-heavy quartet Void Of Vision are back once more, this time with the announcement of the second instalment in the CHRONICLES series.
CHRONICLES II: HEAVEN is set to be Void Of Vision’s magnum opus, containing what is arguably their downright best song to date, ‘DOMINATRIX’. To supplement the announcement of their new EP, Void Of Vision showcase even more of their mighty and fresh creative direction by sharing a new single, ‘INTO THE DARK’.
Commenting on ‘INTO THE DARK’, frontman Jack Bergin says: “‘INTO THE DARK’ smashed down any pre-conceived barrier of innocence and naivety that we may have ever shown prior, and propelled us into a brand new creative world.”
Regarding the creative context behind ‘INTO THE DARK’, Bergin discusses: “It’s an extremely odd feeling to describe, hearing the first few notes of your to-be magnum opus for the first time before it’s even finished. Creating this song, from go to woe, was one of the most rewarding moments of our band’s career and now presents as a crucial landmark in Void Of Vision’s timeline.”
Excitingly, Dan Searle of the almighty British metalcore group Architects has united with Void Of Vision, taking on both co-writing and co-production roles.
