The UK’s premier tech-metal festival, Tech-Fest, have announced the first round of bands for their 2023 lineup. Legacy death metal titans Suffocation are joined alongside US deathcore mainstays Chelsea Grin and Born Of Osiris to form three of the four headliners, with the early-bird headliner still yet to be announced.
Also joining the bill are UK metalcore act Loathe, who have taken the world by storm since the release of their 2020 album I Let It In And It Took Everything, touring across the globe on both headlining and supporting slots. Further acts include death metal legends Aborted, as well as a litany of fantastic UK scene bands such as Cage Fight, The Five Hundred, Pulse, Azure and InRetrospect.
Joining the festival for the first time too are Swedish happy-thall newcomers Karmanjakah, as well as the Cambridge-native Akkadian, who are sure to add a new flavour to the festival.
While this is just the first round of bands announced, it’s safe to say that Tech-Fest 2023 is gearing up to be one of the heaviest and most exciting lineups the festival has ever seen.
