Twelve Foot Ninja Announce Third Studio Album

Aussie genre-defiant prog kings Twelve Foot Ninja have announced their long-awaited third studio album, titled Vengeance. Along with the announcement, the group shared a brand new music video for their latest single “Start The Fire“, which you can view below.

The announcement also included a vast array of content to be released under the name Project Vengeance alongside the record, including a graphic novel, a high-fantasy literary novel, and a selection of pre-order options for the record. The former of which, a graphic novel titled Vengeance, written by Stevic Mackay and illustrated by George Evangelista, is available now.

Further, the group announced plans to embark on an EU/UK tour in early 2022, the poster for the UK leg of which you can view below. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, and can be found here.

Vengeance comes five years following the group’s crowdfunded 2016 sophomore record Outlier, which shocked the metal world at large with its refined genre-bending chops and infectious hooks.

In keeping with their theme of the weird, wonderful and ridiculous, the first single for the project titled “Long Way Home was released back in May of this year, with fans being able to access the single early through a tongue-in-cheek 2D platformer created by guitarist Stevic Mackay. The group are currently fundraising to turn the game into a full project, which you can find here.

Vengeance is due for release on October 15th via Volkanik, the group’s self-owned label. You can find pre-orders for the record, its accompanying literary novel and goodies here. You can view the album’s official artwork and track listing below.

For all things Twelve Foot Ninja, metal and music in general, keep it locked on Boolin Tunes. Further, check back in October for my full review of Vengeance!
