Chelmsford based quintet Tigress have released a single titled “F.L.Y” from their upcoming album. This follows up the single “Disconnect” which released back in April of this year. The video for the latest track can be viewed below.
“F.L.Y” will feature on Tigress’ album Pure Vida, which was produced and recorded at Black Bay Studio by Adrian Bushy (Muse, Foo Fighters), and mastered by Harry Hess whose backcatalogue includes Architects and Billy Talent.
Vocalist Katy Jackson has this to comment on the album I wanted to write a real love song about what it’s actually like to be in a relationship. Most love songs are written about a new and fresh love. I’m in a relationship of 14 years, and this is the reality of what it’s like. It’s the truth and not a fantasy of a relationship.” Jackson concludes “You don’t wake up looking longingly in each other’s eyes… F.L.Y. is a gritty badass love song.”
