Canadian prog-metallers Spiritbox have announced their long-anticipated debut album, Eternal Blue, for release later this year on Rise Records and Pale Chord. This announcement comes along with a brand new single titled “Secret Garden” which follows up last month’s release “Circle With Me“.
Originally formed in 2017, the trio of Courtney LaPlante (Vocals), Mike Stringer (Guitar) and Bill Crook (Bass) have released two EPs to date with 2017’s Self-Titled EP, followed by the Singles Collection EP in back in 2019.
Both 2020 singles Constance and Holy Roller will be featured on the album, with the former being the closer. However “Blessed Be” and “Rule Of Nines“, though likely originally penned for the record, will not be appearing on the final release. The album’s third track “Yellowjacket” is set to feature Architects’ Sam Carter, who recently celebrated their first number one album with For Those Who Wish To Exist back in February.
Eternal Blue will release on September 17th via Rise Records & Pale Chord. You can find pre-orders here, and view the album’s official artwork and tracklist below. For further news on Spiritbox and a review of Eternal Blue, keep an eye on Boolin Tunes.
