Metalcore unit Serration have today announced their anticipated new album, Simulations Of Hell, which is out this September via DAZE Records. The album will join their sublime discography which includes 2020 record Shrine of Consciousness, and their 2018 split with Dying Wish. The announcement comes with second single from Simulations Of Hell, titled “Shroud Of Gnarled Tongues”, and can be listened to below.
The rager of a track sees vocalist Cody Dewald flex their gnarly screams against the band’s maddening riffs, written by drummer Colter James. On “Shroud Of Gnarled Tongues”, Dewald comments, “This track is pointed at people that have no pity for others, burning every bridge and having zero guilt about it along the way”.
Simulations Of Hell was produced, mixed, and mastered by Jordan Chase at Oodelally Recordings, who run out of Kelowna, BC. The first single “A Suicide Note In Midi Format” features Emma Boster of Dying Wish and debuting earlier this year, and placed itself as one of 2023’s best single releases so far. Simulations Of Hell will see a second feature in the form of David Blom of Sanction, continuing their rich roster of features including the likes of Frazer Cassling of Cauldron.
Six vinyl variants will be immediately available through EVILGREED and DAZE‘s own store. With others availiable through Best Life, Devil Dog and Merch Pit, full list with variants below.
