Sheffield based avant-garde alternative band Rolo Tomassi have released a new single titled “Cloaked”. This is the first single from their to be announced album, which they recorded with producer Lewis Johns at The Ranch Production House. The video for “Cloaked” can be viewed below.
Earlier in the year, Rolo Tomassi confirmed on Instagram they were working with Lewis Johns on their upcoming album. Johns‘ has also worked on the soon to be released Employed To Serve album Conquering, which will come out this September. This will be their sixth studio album which will follow on from their high acclaimed Time Will Die and Love Will Bury it.
On Monday a site titled “becomesmemory” appeared, which teased the quintet’s return. After showing various clips including several of the band’s live performances, the teaser ends with “MWBM”, which is more than likely a hint to the title of the new album.
Along with the new single and teasers, it has been announced Rolo Tomassi have signed with eOne Music. This comes after the band left Holy Roar Records in September 2020. When discussing the signing, vocalist Eva Spence had this to say “We’re excited to finally share new music after spending the last two years working on our new record. Writing has been essential for us this past year in the absence of playing live, we can’t wait to get back on the road and hope to see you at a show soon.”
“Cloaked” is out now and be streamed here. For further news on Rolo Tomassi and other metalcore, alt-rock and post-hardcore bands, keep it locked on BoolinTunes.
