Aussie unit Northlane have announced their upcoming EP, Mirror’s Edge, set to release this coming April. This comes alongside single “Miasma“, featuring Winston McCall from Parkway Drive, the first of three features from the upcoming EP. The visualiser for the new single can be viewed below.
Northlane once again worked alongside Will Putney on Mirror’s Edge, the producer being a mainstay for them and worked on previous records Node, Alien and Obsidian. As mentioned, the EP will see special features from Winston McCall (Parkway Drive), Ian Kenny (Karnivool/Birds of Tokyo) and their former bassist Brendon Padjasek, the former also featuring in a vocal capacity.
The EP explores the inner-self across its six tracks, what reflections of the past arise and then moving on beyond it to find what lies within the ‘mirror’s edge’. Vocalist Marcus Bridge puts forward hopefulness that Mirror’s Edge will be the concluding passage on this part of his personal life, which has been shared on previous aforementioned records Alien and Obsidian.
Mirror’s Edge will release April 12th via independent release, and can be pre-ordered here. The EPs full tracklist and artwork can be viewed below. For a full review and further news on everything Northlane, make sure to stick around with BoolinTunes.
