holder – Ruin The Best Of Me (EP)

Samosa recommends: Holder continues to create grandiose, theatrical themes like they did on their first Self Titled EP, blending early screamo and elements of post-hardcore. The emotions flowing through the wretched screams of new vocalist Brie, capture the same nostalgia the band has been able to effortlessly create in their short stint so far. The bands rise in recent years has felt like a whirlwind, they have fit a gap in this space of hardcore that listeners have really resonated with. The two new tracks from them on this EP continue the rampage the band is having through the scene.
Honor Choir – Satellite Receiver (Single)

Dobbin recommends: Honor Choir are starting off what should be a good year for post hardcore. “Satellite Receiver” is on the sentimental end of the genre with glassy guitars and forlorn vocals. It’s a breath of cold air that really bites down at its end, landing a pivotal final chorus. The track will be the centrepiece of their Modes of Transport EP that drops next month.
Rekrucify – Demo (EP)

Jack recommends: Rekrucify appeared seemingly out of nowhere earlier this week and immediately caught our attention. A hardcore supergroup of sorts, the lineup is stacked with talent from across the UK scene. Delivering good, old-fashioned, stomp-across-the-pit hardcore, Rekrucify is a killer addition to the ever-growing UKHC scene. Clocking in at just eight and a half minutes, DEMO is pure, relentless energy. Built to be experienced live, we’re just waiting on that debut show announcement.

Joe recommends: A few years since dropping new material, Without Love are back with their latest single “Natural Order“. The short single showcases the rapid and enthralling hardcore sound that Without Love have perfected over the years, with “Natural Order” especially being one of the headbangers, and we very much look forward to their upcoming record.
