Joe recommends: Our friends from New Jersey returned with in another banger in “Kill the Static“, packing all the hallmarks of 00s metalcore and heavy rock. This quality and authenticity can only be produced by someone who really lived through that era. Whether it’s the distorted chorus backed by melodic riffs or the big breakdown at the close, it’s the sort of track that would be found being made into an AMV back in the day.
Karmanjakah – Dove (Single)

Dobbin recommends: It’s been three years since Karmanjakah released new music, a long winter that now thaws to the sound of “Dove“. In a world that’s getting dark and heavier, their concept of ‘happy thall’ has never been more magnetic, and this must immediately be their greatest track. Burst blasts, angelic vocals, and pirouetting leads swirl together to create a djent experience that is frankly life-affirming.
Monochrome – Still Suffering (Single)

Joe recommends: If the sublime single “Levitate” wasn’t convincing enough that Monochrome are a blue chip prospect of the UK’s underground scene, then “Still Suffering” will be the track that does. Blending haunting soundscapes with baritone riffs and piercing screams, there is an otherworldly atmosphere to what Monochrome are crafting here, with their sophomore record set to be something quite special.
