Joe recommends: rozemary are seemingly capturing the ears of the underground UK scene as each single and show passes, with “starlit ballroom” being yet another showcase of that. Pivoting to a post-hardcore and ballad-esque style, showcasing another side of rozemary‘s sound and ability.
Killing Me Softly – To Forever Fall Through God’s Safety Net (EP)

Jack W recommends: Leeds-based chaotic metalcore outfit Killing Me Softly returned earlier this week, releasing their second EP To Forever Fall Through God’s Safety Net. Fifteen minutes of pure carnage, the band have departed into a slightly different direction, seemingly influenced by Converge and Botch. Still retaining their signature tone, with menacing riffs and erratic drums, the band shows that they’re not changing their sound, but enhancing it. On top of this, vocalist Jono Roberts’ vocal performance takes things to a wholly new level, with him reaching heights previously unheard. A truly pivotal EP in the ongoing metalcore revival across the UK, To Forever Fall Through God’s Safety Net is a must listen for any self-respecting metalcore/hardcore fan.
Seethe – No Mercy (Single)

Joe recommends: Back with their second single, Seethe continue to deeply impress with “No Mercy“. Each angle of their sound is a sheer assault, slicing drum groves and riffs that grind and ruminate charge up their sound in a grizzly manner, with vocals that would bite your ear off, top stuff.
Delilah – To Be Forgotten (feat. Slamwich) (Single)

Shane recommends: Metalcore revivalists Delilah return once again on the fangs of a ravenous showcase of Myspace metalcore executed to a cannibalistic tee with “To Be Forgotten“. With shades of early-era Parkway Drive and Miss May I smeared over four minutes of pure vampire core, Delilah are exhibiting all the qualities of a band with everything to prove, yet are already well above everyone else. A word of advice: get the stakes ready and don’t go out after dark; Delilah are out for blood and show no signs of relenting.
