Dobbin recommends: Making their return after dropping a Demo in 2023, Stressed kick the door down into this year with single “End”, which features stalwarts Terminal Sleep. Rapid and vicious in every manner, the addition of Thorwesten’s vocal make for a merciless listen.
Trauma Bonds – Sepulchre Heart (Single)

Dobbin recommends: After a breakout year in 2023 for the Dundee band Trauma Bonds, they now look to expand on that with their new single “Sepulchre Heart”. Drawing from both their heavy metallic hardcore sound, with some gorgeous melancholic moments, making for another sublime single from Trauma Bonds.
Yaoguai – Demo II (EP)

Joe recommends: Impressing on their initial Demo I, UK unit Yaoguai are back with their follow up. Demo II contains “Cold Snap” and “…From Decay”, drawing on an old school metallic hardcore sound, with an impressive vocal performance and crunchy riffs, this release shows that Yaoguai should be noted as a prospect in the UK scene.
