Memphis May Fire Get Heavy Again With ‘Death Inside’

Not long after the early June release of “Blood & Water”, Memphis May Fire are back again with a new single titled “Death Inside”. You can view the single’s official music video below.

The new single features an exploration into a new sonic atmosphere. In usual Memphis May Fire fashion, vocalist Matty Mullins flexes his vocal ability in the chorus with a massive melody layered with euphoric harmonies. The band is backing up their promise of returning to their heavier sound, and it seems to be well received by most.

Speaking on the new single, Mullins commented: “‘Death Inside’ is a new flavor for MMF,” Mullins explains. “I wanted to get out of my comfort zone with the vocals on this one and ended up discovering a sound that I think really caters to the concept. The song is about fear of death and the choice to either let it consume you or live life to the fullest.

“We are donating 100 percent of the profits from a new t-shirt in our merch store to one of my favorite non-profits called Living the Dream. LTD helps children and young adults living with life-threatening illnesses stay positive, maintain hope, and appreciate each and every day, regardless of their affliction.” The band’s merch store can be found here.

With no official album announcement as of yet, while one is sure to be on the horizon, make sure to keep it locked on Boolin Tunes for the latest Memphis May Fire news. “Death Inside” is available now via Rise Records, and you can stream or purchase the single here.
