UNFD veterans In Hearts Wake have returned for a second swing at success with an expanded edition of their fifth full-length album, Kaliyuga. Initially released in August 2020 to mixed response from the metalcore community, the record was regrettably further suppressed due to Covid cancelling tours across the board. Resultantly, Kaliyuga’s impact was more of a tepid bath rather than an unholy baptism of blazing fire.
Now though, In Hearts Wake are emerging from the fires of yesteryear unscathed with scorching single, “Dogma”. On the single, vocalist Jake Taylor comments: “We set ourselves the challenge to write an entire song about dogs and had so much fun doing it. Sticking true to the theme, who better to ask to feature on Dogma than Alpha Wolf… Woof Woof!”
Discussing the expansion of Kaliyuga, Taylor says: ““Dogma” is part of our upcoming Kaliyuga Booster Pack, which includes 3 brand new songs and also 5 live tracks from the Brisbane Tivoli — the only show thus far on the Kaliyuga album cycle.”
