UK newcomers Heriot have today shared the details of their debut EP, Profound Morality, which is due for release this spring. They have also dropped their latest single, “Coalescence“, which will feature on the record alongside previous singles “Near Vision” and “Enter the Flesh“. With this single comes a rapid visualiser, created by Harry Steel who has worked with fellow UK band Loathe, and can be viewed below.
Heriot quickly made a name for themselves with their viscous sound on tracks such as “Cleansed Existence” and “Recreant“, which then saw them supporting Svalbard on their most recent UK tour last year. Now set to perform at Upsurge Festival tomorrow in New Cross, with Last Wishes, Raiden and Static Dress. They will also be supporting Rolo Tomassi on their February UK tour, alongside one of 2021’s breakout bands, Pupil Slicer. Fronted by dual vocalists Jake Packer and Debbie Gough, who play bass and guitar respectively. Drummer Julian Gage and guitarist Erhan Alman complete the quartet.
Profound Morality due April 29th via Church Road Records. The record can be pre-ordered here, with the full tracklist and artwork below. For a full review of Profound Morality and further updates on Heriot, keep it with Boolin Tunes.
