Graywave Announces Upcoming Record ‘Dancing in the Dust’

Shoegaze unit Graywave have today announced their brand new EP, Dancing in the Dust, which is set to release this May through Church Road Records. The record will follow on from their previously released EPs Rebirth and Planetary Shift. The announcements comes alongside brand new single “Undone“, the third single to be released from Dancing in the Dust.

Discussing the EP, vocalist Jess Webberley comments, ‘Dancing in the Dust’ aims to capture the feeling of yearning for something that is out of reach, it’s about longing for a memory that will never repeat. When writing these songs I was heavily focussed on the way that time continues to move along without pausing for a breath, and the bittersweet feeling that realisation evokes’.

During May, the lead up to Dancing in the Dust releasing will see Graywave tour the UK supporting sleepmakeswaves, allowing them to showcase their new material. The tour will see them play well-known venues such as Boom in Leeds and The Garage down in London, with tickets going on sale this coming Friday.

Dancing in the Dust is set to release May 31st via Church Road Records, and can be pre-ordered here. The full tracklist and artwork can be viewed below, for a full review and further Graywave coverage, keep an eye on BoolinTunes.
