Quartet Exit Dream have today released the music video for their debut single “Kaleidoscope“, which will release on streaming services tomorrow. The video was put together by Static Dress frontman, Olli Appleyard, who has produced numerous videos for bands in the UK scene.
Fronted by ex-Napoleon vocalist, Wes Thompson, he is joined by bassist Rob Hawkins plus former Casey members Liam Torrance and Max Nicolai who perform on guitar and drums respectively. Napoleon released 2 full-lengths and two EP, with Newborn Mind being their most well-known body of work. Casey debut in 2015 with EP Fade, and followed up with Love Is Not Enough in 2016 and Where I Go When I Am Sleeping in 2018. Both of the well-established UK groups disbanded in 2019, with both performing farewell tours across the UK and Europe.
“Kaleidoscope” has seen its production, mixing and mastering done by some of the best in the business. With Loathe guitarist Erik Bickerstaffe producing the vocals, Erik has previously worked with other UK bands such as God Complex and Static Dress. Ex-Counterparts drummer Jesse Doreen produced and contributed towards the writing, with Gatherers’ drummer Adam Cichocki completing the mix and finally Grammy-Award nominated Mike Kalajian on mastering.
