Hot off the back of performing at the recent Download Pilot festival, Employed To Serve have announced their fourth full length album Conquering. “Exist” has been released alongside this announcement, giving us a glimpse and what to expect from the upcoming album. You can view the single’s official video below.
This will be the first album with new drummer Casey McHale, also of the band Breather, and guitarist David Porter. The new members joined after the departure of drummer Robbie Back and guitarist Rich Jacobs last year. Similar to their previous 3 records, Conquering is produced by Lewis Johns of The Ranch based in Southampton.
Amiss from the album is last year’s release “Party’s Over” which will now remain as a standalone single. Last year also saw vocalist Justine Jones, and guitarist Sammy Urwin, team up with Renounced members to form Glorious and release hardcore EP “Unashamed”.
When discussing Conquering, vocalist Justine Jones says, “Conquering is about rising above adversity and self-doubt. We’re really excited to share our latest album — I feel it’s our best work to date. We wanted to go a more metal orientated direction with this album and see how far we could push our musical capabilities.”
Conquering will release on September 17th via Spinefarm Records. You can find pre-orders here, and view the album’s official artwork and tracklist below. For a review of Conquering and news on Employed to Serve, keep your eyes on Boolin Tunes.
