California hardcore unit Drain have today announced their sophomore album, LIVING PROOF, set to release this coming May. This will be their second full-length, following on from their hit record California Cursed, which dropped back in 2020. This announcement comes with new single “Evil Finds Light“, which Drain have been performing live over the past few months.
2022 saw Drain perform at a string of festivals including Outbreak in the UK, headlining Sound & Fury in their home state, and most recently performing at For The Children, Drain have swiftly become a must-see act for many, with their beach-ball frenzy and high-energy performances making an impact. The latest single will join “Watch You Burn” on LIVING PROOF, which was released in August of last year. Both tracks have now become regulars in Drain‘s live sets.
“I hope with this record that when someone hears it, it gives them hope,” Ciaramitaro comments. “This is the soundtrack of perseverance and people overcoming the naysayers in their world and inside themselves. I can’t wait to play these songs and hear a room full of people singing back to us. We’re what the title says, the Living Proof.”
Living Proof will be available on a 12″ vinyl in translucent electric blue and black which can be purchased on the Drain official store linked below, each limited to 10,000 copies.
