Counterparts have today announced their seventh studio record, A Eulogy For Those Still Here, set to release this October. The highly anticipated record will be their first since 2019’s Nothing Left To Love and the record’s B-sides which were release a year later. As per, the announcement comes with a new single, titled “Unwavering Vow“. You can watch the video for track below.
This record will see the return of guitarist Jesse Doreen after the departure of Blake Hardman last year, Doreen has contributed to the writing on the record. Recently performed live track “Bound to the Burn“, saw one of his lead riffs used that had written while away from the band. A Eulogy For Those Still Here saw its vocal tracking finished up earlier this year and was then fully produced, mixed and mastered by Will Putney. The record’s distinct artwork was done by Colin Crane, who has worked with Teenage Wrist, Salt Creek and talker.
The record will come with thirteen variants, with them teaming up Impericon, Newbury, Banquet Records and more. The variants can be viewed below:
