CANDY, agroundbreaking force in hardcore music, have announced the highly anticipated release of their third full-length album, It’s Inside You, set to release this coming June via Relapse Records. The announcements comes with thunderous lead single titled “eXistenZ“, and launches the band into a fresh era of boundary-shattering music, and can be listened to below.
Produced by CANDY‘s own Michael Quick, alongside Ben Greenberg of Uniform and mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City Studios (known for his work with NAILS, High on Fire & The Armed), It’s Inside You will deliver 12 tracks of relentless intensity and raw emotion. While retaining the nihilistic edge of their previous work, the album sees CANDY embracing a newfound tenderness, creating an empowering atmosphere that emphasizes the importance of connection and self-discovery. Collaborators such as Aaron Melnick (Integrity), Justice Tripp (Angel Du$t, Trapped Under Ice), and David Gagliardi (Trash Talk) have joined forces with CANDY to enrich and redefine the band’s already distinctive energy.
Comprised of principal songwriter and guitarist Michael Quick, vocalist Zak Quiram, drummer Steve DiGenio, and bassist Drew Stark, It’s Inside You follows their critically acclaimed sophomore album Heaven Is Here. Tracks such as “Human Condition Above Human Opinion,” “Transcend To Wet” and “World of Shit” have solidified the band’s reputation for their intensity.
In addition to the album announcement, CANDY reveals plans for two exclusive performances with The Dillinger Escape Plan at New York City’s Brooklyn Paramount on June 21st and June 23rd. Tickets are available here.
