Burn It Down Announce Friday Headliner + Second Wave of Bands

The line-up for Burn It Down has continued to grow, with the second wave of bands being announced for the 2026 edition of the Torquay-based festival. The big announcement is the Friday headliner, which will see Drug Church return to the UK for a second time this year, following on from their supporting role on the recent Deftones tour. It also sees Friday have no barrier on the main stage, which occurred last year during the Guilt Trip set. Also, hinting at this could be the year we see many more hardcore and adjacent bands on the main stage, with the likes of SpacedGrove Street, and Defiance more than fitting for a no-barrier set.

The reinforcements announced begin to form one of the heaviest Burn It Down line-ups to date, with the likes of Last Wishes and Tension joining Negative Frame and Tempers Fray, all of which will be familiar to those who have attended Burn It Down in previous years or been to a hardcore show in the south. The likes of Spy, Dry Socket, and TRC will make their debuts at the Torquay festival this year, and see Burn It Down‘s line-up shift towards the likes of No Play and Reality Unfolds.

Another act making their debut at Burn It Down will be South West unit, Monochrome. Kicking off this year with “Levitate” and “Still Suffering“, it seemed only a matter of time before they began to feature on larger line-ups, with them also performing at this year’s Foefest. Cheltenham’s own Toast will join them in making their debut, an act who has done the miles on the local circuit and now gets to bring the unique alternative style all the way to Devon.

More familiar faces will return with Love Rarely making their comeback since performing at Burn It Down in 2024. First performing in The Apple & Parrot, there must be little doubt that Love Rarely will now be a main stage fixture after emerging as one of the UK’s breakout acts of 2026. Not Without Punishment also make their welcome return to Burn It Down. The Soton hardcore unit have shown themselves to be one of the most consistent performances in the UKHC scene, and there’s little doubt that their set will be an absolute barnstormer.

With more bands to be announced and a Thursday fixture now set in, the 2026 edition of Burn It Down is set to be one for the ages, and tickets can be ordered here.
