Today Break Fifty have announced their debut EP, Every Scream Became A Whisper In The Dark, which is set to release this coming December. Alongside this the UK unit have released new single, “Second Skin”, which follows on previously released “Dreamland” which features Ben Mason of Bound In Fear and Pintglass.
Commenting on the EP, vocalist Angus shares, “This EP serves as a testament to the restorative potency of music as a means of processing and expressing complex emotions”. And continues in regard to the new single “Second Skin“, “Unveiling authenticity through the shedding of skins, this metaphor encapsulates the journey of baring truth. It’s about peeling away facades, exposing raw realities, and embracing the genuine self beneath. A powerful reminder that honesty births liberation“.
A change in line-up, which included introduction of the aforementioned vocalist and Batch on guitars, has ushered in a new energy to Break Fifty. And with their return to the live stage set for November 6th alongside Creak, Junta and Lure In at EBGBs in Liverpool, they will look to transfer that energy to a live setting.
Every Scream Became A Whisper In The Dark is set to release December 7th via self release, and can be pre-saved here. The full track-listings and the album artwork can be viewed below, and for a full review of Every Scream Became A Whisper In The Dark, keep an eye on Boolin Tunes.
