Ohio rockers Beartooth have shared a new track, “Hell of It,” from their upcoming fourth studio record Below, dropping June 25th on Red Bull Records. The track features a much heavier sound than the band has been known for as of late, with aggressive lyricism, roaring vocals and chunky, distorted guitars; it feels like the perfect throwback to the band’s early days.
The track comes as the third single from the group’s upcoming record Below, after the releases of “Devastation” and “The Past Is Dead” back in March. These three singles give off the impression that Below may just be set to be one of the group’s heaviest outings to date, being further described as a “pure distillation of chaos.”
“”Hell Of It” is one of my favorites on the album,” says singer Caleb Shomo. “It’s meant to try and melt as much face as possible. This song was really important for discovering the guitar tone for the album and the use of pedals to expand on parts. The breakdown in this might be my favorite of all.”
Below is set to arrive on June 25th via Red Bell Records, you can find the album’s official artwork and tracklisting below, and you can find pre-orders for the record here.
