Metalcore veterans August Burns Red have announced plans of a 10th anniversary celebration of their 2011 album, Leveler, including plans to release a fully re-recorded version of the album, alongside a livestream concert to perform the album in full, along with some fan favourites from Constellations.
This anniversary celebration continues the band’s tradition of revamping their back catalogue, starting with their Messengers Remixed remake of their 2007 album, Messengers, back in 2016. Constellations also received the same treatment back in 2019 for its 10th anniversary with Constellations Remixed.
The album features not only fully re-recorded instrumentals and vocals, but further contains a new track titled “X“, and new musical features from the likes of Trivium’s Matt Heafy, Fit For A King’s Ryan Kirby, and Periphery’s Misha Mansoor.
The livestream event is also the third time in which the group has undergone an online show experience in the wake of the pandemic, following their Thrill Seeker Live and Christmas Burns Red streams last year on November 14th and December 12th, respectively.
Leveler 10th Anniversary Edition launches on May 21st, 2021, with their Leveler Full Album Livestream taking place the day after on May 22nd.
