We truly believed that this year’s edition of ArcTanGent was probably the best lineup of any UK festival this year, and that was before the final announcement this morning. Today brings us the final wave of bands for ArcTanGent 2026, including no less than art punk prog rock legends Cardiacs, mathcore GOATs The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza will play their first ever UK show at ATG 2026, and blackgaze fan favourites in MØL will return to Fernhill Farm.
The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza coming to ATG always felt like a wish more than a real possibility, yet here we are. We didn’t even include them on our wishlist for this year because we didn’t know it was possible. After a comeback performance 13 years in the making at Furnace Fest in the US last year, Danza will finally be playing on UK soil for the very first time since forming in 2004. Us at Boolin Tunes could not be more excited to finally see this legendary mathcore band live in all their tapping and sweep picking glory.
This final wave of bands also treats us at Boolin Tunes with the addition of Múr, who was on our wishlist for this year’s ATG. Truly a band that is a perfect fit for this festival, when we discovered their phenomenal 2024 debut album it completely took over Boolin Tunes. A cinematic post metal and progressive death metal infusion that got so many of us hooked will be filling the fields of Fernhill Farm. After a stellar performance opening The Roundhouse at last year’s Incineration Festival, we have absolutely no doubts Múr will be a highlight of an already stacked ArcTanGent.
