ArcTanGent Announce All Four Headliners, Including SikTh, Primus, Chelsea Wolfe, And Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas Playing Mariner In Full

“Leave her to sing her withered songs, In tunnels painted like the dawn.”

Just shy of a month after the first line-up announcement, which saw in heavy hitters Igorrr, Perturbator, and Chat Pile to name but a few, all four of our headliners for the beloved festival have now been announced. Progressive metal pioneers SikTh will headline the Wednesday of the festival playing alongside the already announced Svalbard and fan favourites from the 2025 edition of ArcTanGent. Thursday sees for the first time experimental funk metal veterans Primus playing the festival, and the UK for the first time in almost a decade. Darkwave and doomgaze singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe will be bringing the melancholy to the Friday of ArcTanGent, another long awaited arrival to Fernhill Farm. Finally, to close out the festival we have post-sludge metallers Cult of Luna alongside Julie Christmas playing their collaborative album Mariner in full, which at this current time is a worldwide exclusive.

The other additions to the line-up include grindcore warhorse Napalm Death, stoner sludge from High On Fire, ArcTanGent royalty with Conjurer, and virtuoso cellist Jo Quail featuring The Crossbones Ensemble. ArcTanGent is a beloved festival by us at Boolintunes, and with a card as strong as this one it seems like we’re in for another stellar four days at Fernhill Farm in 2026. If last years numbers are anything to go by, we’re looking at at least another 50 bands to be announced for the festival, so the hopes from our wishlist still have a chance to make it. ArcTanGent 2026 will take place between the 19th and 22nd of August 2026.
