Metal veteran Arch Enemy have released their explosive video for their standalone single, “Deceiver, Deceiver“. The music video which was directed by Patric Ullaeus, can be viewed below.
Arch Enemy‘s Michael Amott comments: “Wait…what? Has it really been four years since we last released new Arch Enemy music? Time flies…especially when you tour the world for a couple of years, decide to take some time off…and then we all get hit with a global fckn pandemic! Everyone’s been through hard times these last couple of years, and it’s beautiful to see everything coming back now. This very much feels like the right moment to return with a brand new song, ‘Deceiver, Deceiver’! Not the happiest of tunes, but believe me – we’re ecstatic to be back!”
The quintet’s last release in 2017 was their full-length album Will To Power, which included tracks such as “The World Is Yours“, “First Day in Hell” and “The Race“. Since then Arch Enemy spent their time touring the world and performing in the UK at venues such as the 02 Academy Brixton and 02 Apollo Manchester. The band will be returning to the UK next year as part of The European Siege Tour alongside Carcass and Unto Others.
“Deceiver, Deceiver” is out now via Century Media Records, and can be streamed here.
