All That Remains will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of their legendary album The Fall of Ideals with a vinyl reissue, a tour and a new documentary. Exclusive coloured vinyl variants with deluxe packing will be exclusively released on their own webstore. Further information about the tour and documentary will come later this year.
The Fall of Ideals was originally released in July of 2006 and is considered the bands’ breakout album. Songs such as “This Calling”, “Six” and “This Air That I Breathe” have since become some of the bands most popular songs, and staples of the genre to this day. The album saw that band shift their sound away from death metal into the melodic metalcore sound that has now become their staple. Produced by Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage and Times of Grace and engineered by Soilwork guitarist Peter Wichers.
Commenting on the anniversary, vocalist Philip Labonte had this to say “We’re so thankful to everyone who has kept this disc in their hearts for the past 15 years,” says Labonte. “We are proud to celebrate the reissue and can’t wait to tell you about all the other cool things we have in store.”
Since the release of The Fall of Ideals, All That Remains carried their defining sound into Overcome and For We Are Many which were respectively released in 2008 and 2010. Upon release the album peaked No. 75 in Billboard 200 and has shifted more than 450,000 units.
