With festival announcements for 2026 in full swing, 2000trees has joined in the fun and revealed the first set of bands that are set to perform in the Cotswold hills next summer. The main announcement is that Alkaline Trio will be headlining the Thursday, making their return since last performing at the festival 10 years ago in 2015. The two other headliners for the Friday and the Saturday will be announced at a later date, yet the top of the card for those respective days see the likes of Lambrini Girls, Cancer Bats, Glassjaw, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Glassjaw set to perform at 2000trees.
The full Wednesday line-up has too been revealed, with Pup pulling double duty and performing both Wednesday and the Thursday. Joining them will be the returning Love Rarely, who made their 2000trees debut last year on the Neu stage. As well as Karen Dio, Hyphen, Blackgold and Lake Malice who will all be familiar to those who have attend the festival before. It has been announced that there are low tickets for the passes with the Wednesday included, so those keen to attend that day are encouraged to grab their tickets soon.
Seemingly keen to put a spotlight on local Cheltenham bands, 2000trees have included the likes of Lickshot, Truck, Saint Senara and Prodigal, who will be familiar names to those who spend their time down the Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham. Prodigal performed earlier this year at Bloodstock, after winning Cheltenham’s Metal to the Masses. They will be in good company alongside the likes of upcoming acts such as Knives and Iota also on the line-up.
Other bands who have made their mark on 2025 who will be performing are the likes of God Complex, who made their return this year with the stellar, He Watches In Silence. Plus Pinkshift, who deeply impressed on their return with their record Earthkeeper and Lonesome who captured the imagination on their full-length debut, In The Hope This Finds You. Then of course, Pool Kids, who crafted their own pop magic on Easier Said Than Done and are set to tour the UK at the start of 2026.
