Those of us who were watching ArcTanGent line-up announcements come through thick and fast, itching to know when 2000trees would unveil the next set of bands, the wait is now over. The notable announcement will be that Neck Deep are headlining the Saturday of 2000trees and will close out the festival, marking ten years since they saw their first outing at the festival. Sunny Day Real Estate will take a detour from their supporting role on the My Chemical Romance tour to make their first performance at the festival.
North-east stalwarts Long Goodbye join the line-up, making their 2000trees debut off the back of their highly acclaimed 2025 EP, to reconcile with death for the sake of a beautiful ending. They will join the likes of Cauldron in representing The Coming Strife at the festival. Leeds units Bodyweb and High Power have also joined the line-up, to bring their hardcore punk sound to the stages of 2000trees, both of who are slowly becoming festival mainstays within the UK at the likes of Burn It Down, No Play and now 2000trees. While stage splits aren’t yet announced, no doubt they will join the likes of God Complex and Still In Love in showing The Cave the gnarlier side of life.
For the happy clappy crowd; Delilah Bon, The Xcerts and Saint Agnes have all been confirmed on the line-up, who will likely see themselves across The Forest, Nu-Stage and taking to the main stage. This alongside the inclusion of Mouth Culture and ALT BLK ERA on the line-up further showcases 2000trees return to leaning on the alternative and pop-punk side of music, which has often remained its core over the decades.
Familiar faces to Cheltenham residents in High Regard and Beauty School will be present, both of who have performed at the Frog and Fiddle in recent years, with the former making their return after performing on The Forest stage in 2024. These add to many acts who are either often found down The Frog performing or have played their historically, including the likes of Prodigal, Saint Senara and Truck.
