Cheltenham-based festival 2000trees has today announced 35 more bands to join the lineup for this summer’s event. After a triumphant 2024, which saw a return to form with standout performances from Movements, Better Lovers, Cauldron, Gouge Away, Dead Pony, and Lonely the Brave, the 2025 iteration is shaping up to be even bigger. These latest additions build upon an already stacked lineup featuring previously revealed main stage headliners: Alexisonfire, Kneecap, PVRIS, Taking Back Sunday, and Coheed & Cambria.
Today’s announcement will excite fans of heavy-hitting, high-energy performances, with Hertfordshire’s VEXED joining the bill fresh from their tour with Silent Planet, making their 2000trees debut. Also joining are newcomers False Reality, who have made a name for themselves in the UK scene with their two-stepping anthems. Meanwhile, The Cave stage is set to be a nonstop frenzy with these newly announced acts, alongside the likes of Pest Control, Graphic Nature and Terminal Sleep, ensuring an immense atmosphere.
Scottish alt-rock band Twin Atlantic will headline the second stage at the Axiom on the Thursday. Riding the high from their latest self-released album, Meltdown, the band is eager to reconnect with the 2000trees crowd, having played the festival numerous times before. Puppy is also set to make their long-awaited return with a festival-exclusive performance, marking their first show of the year. Another highly anticipated act, Frank Turner, will deliver a special solo set in the Forest on Friday, performing his critically acclaimed album Love Ire & Song in its entirety.
Other notable additions to the lineup include Australian punk outfit Press Club, British rockers The Hunna, feminist punk artist Karen Dió from Brazil, and legendary post-punk group Mclusky. Hevenshe (Jenna from Tonight Alive) will also make her UK solo debut, adding to the festival’s diverse offerings.
