“Save all that you feel for me.“
Cardiff’s Tramshed felt a few degrees warmer this February as the undisputed kings of beefy sludge, Crowbar, lumbered into town for a masterclass in sheer heaviness. With a setlist pulling from seven different records, Kirk Windstein and company delivered a sound so thick and filling it practically required a sit-down meal to digest. They were joined by the dual-vocal power of Legions of Doom, who brought a hefty serving of veteran doom tradition. Local Welsh titans Silverburn opened up the show, whose tectonic spiritual metal provided a cavernous, rib-rattling start to the night. It was a glorious evening of grooves and riffs that left every soul in the room feeling full.
