“There’s a whole world out there and you would have never known.“
We are officially head over heels for There’s A Whole World Out There, the stunning sophomore album from Arm’s Length that turned the O2 Academy Islington into a sea of cathartic singalongs. The bill was a dream for fans of the new wave of emo, featuring the high-octane Long Island sounds of Koyo, who brought their signature blend of hardcore grit and melodic hooks. The night was also a milestone for us, marking our first time catching the technical emo-pop of Ben Quad and the driving, earnest energy of Shoreline in a live setting, both bands more than lived up to the hype.
