Back by popular demand after its explosive 2024 debut, Stoke-on-Trent’s leading hardcore festival, Stormfest, has officially revealed the date, venue, and full lineup for this year’s event.
Returning to its spiritual home, The Underground, the festival once again doubles down on its DIY ethos – supporting independent venues and keeping the spirit of grassroots hardcore alive. With what could be one of the strongest day-fest lineups of the year, Stormfest is making it clear: Stoke-on-Trent is back on the hardcore map.
This year’s lineup raises the bar, combining heavyweight acts with returning fan favorites and a slew of under-the-radar bands demanding your attention. It’s a carefully crafted celebration of hardcore’s past, present, and future – guaranteed to strike a chord with fans.
Headlining the bill is the much-loved and newly reformed God Complex, promising a chaotic finale to cap off the night. Joining them are scene staples like Long Goodbye, Mercury, and Bodyweb – plenty to get you moving in the pit. But don’t sleep on the smaller names. With local and emerging acts rounding out the bill, arriving early might just reward you with a glimpse of the scene’s next breakout stars.
Whether you’re here for the heavy hitters or hunting for your next favorite band, Stormfest 2025 is set to deliver everything a hardcore fan could ask for – and more.

Stormfest 2025 takes place on the 16th of August at The Underground, Hanley.
