While our official staff lists are still being worked on and calculated, this year we’ve teamed up with FOXCORE to bring you The FOXCORE x Boolin Tunes Awards 2022! This year, alongside those staff lists, you, the reader, get a vote in what you think should be highlighted as the best albums of the year.
As 2022 as been quite an impressive year for music, we’ve had to separate our picks into two lists: the main list, and the ‘outsider’ picks for albums and artists that we felt we should include, despite not fitting on the main nominees.
This year’s nominees are separated by style/subgenre: Alternative, ‘Chaotic,’ Deathcore, ‘Electrocore,’ ‘Gazecore,’ Hardcore, Metalcore, Nu-Metalcore, Post-Hardcore and Progressive.
