BOOLINTUNES: 2025 In Summary

boolin thanks 2025

Find your peace, I’m still searching for mine.

As we round out another fantastic year of music, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on all of the pivotal figures in the scene who have helped both us, and the wider music community. Without all of you, Boolin would not exist. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Our Team

Starting with a huge thanks to our team, the lifeblood of this venture. Without all of your hard work and dedication, we would never have been able to make any of this work. Representing the Scene

Of course, it’s all well and good for us to have a team, but without support from external sources, we’d have nothing to cover. On that basis, we’d like to extend a massive thank you to the often overlooked parties who represent the scene day in, day out. Whether you’re part of a PR agency, management, a booker, promoter, or have any other participation in representing bands and artists, your work is crucial to keeping this industry alive. We can’t thank you enough for the work you do; without you, we could not be Boolin.

Covering the Scene

We recognise that we’re not alone in promoting alternative music, and because of this, we wanted to take some time to thank and acknowledge some of the outlets and voices that we’ve found inspiration in, and challenge us to be our best selves. Thank you for flying the flag for the scene. Your coverage offers different perspectives, along with covering plenty of things which we may have missed or fall outside of our wheelhouse. Every one of you is crucial to ensuring a varied scene where fans of all sorts of genres can discover new music and stay up-to-date on some of their favourite artists.

But most importantly…

This year, we wrote 382 short blurbs for singles, EPs and LPs across our New Music Friday and Releases You May Have Missed columns. There is nothing more important in our mission than giving underappreciated projects the chance they deserve. Thanks to all DIY projects that inspire us to keep championing the scene.

Once again, a huge thank you to all involved in what we do. No matter the role you play, your input is extremely valuable, and we appreciate all that you do. Bring on 2026!
