Los-Angeles unit Bad Omens have today announced their third full-length record, The Death Of Peace Of Mind, set for release next year. With this announcement, the four piece have release the album’s title track as a new single, the video for which can be viewed below.
“Making the record changed us as songwriters and musicians. In many ways, I feel like it set me free as an artist because every decision made in the writing process was for myself, with no fear for anyone else’s expectations of what our third album should sound like. Be it our fans or our record label.” discusses Bad Omens.
The Death Of Peace Of Mind will follow on from 2019’s Finding God Before God Finds Me, which saw a Deluxe Edition release in the following year. The album pushed them to prominence with tracks such as “Limits” and Dethrone“, which the quartet will now look to cement with their upcoming record.
Noah Sebastian (vocals) and Joakin Karlsson (guitars) wrote and produced the record themselves while producer Zakk Cervini was brought in for the mixing and mastering. The GRAMMY award-nominated producer has previously worked such names such as Halsey, Grimes, Poppy and Blink-182. “The whole record really details the loss of peace of mind. The lyrics in the title track are a little more specific in terms of the conflict at the heart of something more intimate and personal.” Noah explains.

You can’t cheat your way to the final act. You have to get on the ride and process it until the end. The songs are meant to be heard from start to finish. We want you to take the whole trip with us.”
