Metalcore mainstays Of Mice & Men have shared details of their upcoming full-length, Echo, and shared a brand new single titled “Fighting Gravity“. You can view the single’s official music video below.
Echo is comprised of three self-produced EPs released across the year. First came the Timeless EP back in February, followed by the Bloom EP in May. The final piece of Echo will be the Ad Infinitum EP, comprised of three new tracks, and a cover.
Speaking on the brand new single “Fighting Gravity“, vocalist Aaron Pauley commented “”Fighting Gravity” is about learning to let go, while also recognising the impermanence and shortness of life,” says Pauley. “We think we’re in control of so much, but we’re really not, and that existential dilemma is at the foundation of the human condition.”
Further, expanding on the album as a whole, he commented “Echo is a snapshot of the last year-and-a-half of our lives,” the band says, summing the album up effectively. “It covers loss and growth, life and impermanence, love, and the infinite – how the most wonderful and most tragic parts of the human experience are deeply intertwined.”
Echo will be available on December 3rd via Sharptone Records, and you can find digital pre-orders here. Physical pre-orders will follow on October 22nd on the same link. Additionally, you can view the album’s official artwork, created by Derek Hess, along with its track listing below. For all things Of Mice & Men, metalcore and music in general, keep it locked on Boolin Tunes.
