New Jersey based Fit For An Autopsy have announced their sixth studio album titled Oh What The Future Holds. The deathcore-unit have also dropped their first piece of new material since last year’s “Fear Tomorrow”, the new single is titled “Far From Heaven” which will feature on the new album. The video of which can be viewed below.
“This song felt like a worthy introduction to premiere the album, picking up where we left off creatively from our last release,” Fit For An Autopsy says. “Although there are more drastic dynamic turns on the new album, ‘Far From Heaven’ delivers from a more simplistic and primal place. Lyrically, this record digs a little further into internal turmoil as well, but this song is in a way a much more literal and grounded representation of our continued frustration with institutions and class gaps that exist in all facets of society. The powerful video, directed by Eric Richter, is a great thematic visual counterpart to the inherent dark nature of the song. Hope you enjoy it — we certainly do.”
The six piece will be returning to the road this January heading across the US on a headliner tour. Support will be provided by Enterprise Earth, Ingested, Signs of the Swarm, and Great American Ghost. The trek kicks off on January 5 in Columbus, Ohio, and runs through February 12 in New York City. On the release date of Oh What The Future Holds, Fit For An Autopsy will be performing in Austin, Texas at Come And Take It Live.
Oh What The Future Holds will be released on January 14th via Nuclear Blast. You can find pre-orders here, and view the album’s official artwork and tracklist below. For further news on Fit For An Autopsy and a review of Oh What The Future Holds , keep an eye on Boolin Tunes.
