Southern California’s Dayseeker are back with another reimagined track from their upcoming Deluxe Edition of 2019’s Sleeptalk. This time the album’s opener “Drunk” has been reworked in an EDM fashion, the third of the reimagined tracks to be released so far. The first in the series was the hit “Burial Plot”, which saw Seneca returning to perform alongside lead singer Rory. The video of which can be viewed below.
“‘Drunk’ is a really cool EDM/dance vibe we’ve never done before,” says singer Rory Rodriguez. “I think it’ll be a really refreshing take.”. Track “Crooked Soul” was the previous track to be released reimagined, with “Sleeptalk” to be the final of the four, likely to be released on the 24th along with the full Deluxe Edition.
The Deluxe Edition comes ahead of the bands tour where they will be alongside The Devil Wears Prada and We Came As Romans. In total there will be 31 dates starting on September 29th that sees them visit New York, Houston and finally a double header in Detroit on the 6th and 7th of November.
Sleeptalk (Deluxe Edition) will release on September 24th via Spinefarm Records. Pre-orders for the album can be found here, and the official artwork for the album and the tracklist can be viewed below. For more news on Dayseeker, stick with Boolin Tunes.
