Dobbin recommends: As seen collaborating with Frantic State and Dagger Threat, Swiss hardcore band Lifecrusher hand down a nasty one-and-a-half minute beatdown through “Choose/Refuse”. “The biggest they’ve ever sounded” is a big theme this NMF, and ever true here with AAA tones and performances. Here’s hoping this foul ditty decorates an upcoming release.
Nedaj – LOST ENTITY (Single)

Dobbin recommends: At Boolin Tunes we’re always happy to see new drops from Nedaj, and “LOST ENTITY” is a particularly huge single. Starting out with upbeat drones to seal that atmosphere, the drum and bass follows, hustling under piano and estranged voices. The drones return again before the kicks double down for a crushing finale.
Sorcerer – Devotion (Single)

Joe recommends: With production that blows their early work out of the English Channel, “Devotion” is the spearhead of Sorcerer’s next release cycle. The distinctly French inflections of the vocals are deliciously refreshing. Beyond the hefty chords that take up most of the track, the subtly lush outro hints towards a mature approach for further upcoming Sorcerer material.
King Yosef – Mist of Pain/Dredge (Single)

Joe recommends: “Mist of Pain” and “Dredge” drop together as a contrasting pair. The former starts straight up hardcore via synth blasts, and embraces drum and bass influence for its skippy beats. “Dredge” is more alt rock and post hardcore, welcoming choruses and melodic riffs through an atmosphere like urban haze. Heard back to back, you might not expect them to come from the same artist, but in these two short tracks you get a good sense for King Yosef’s breadth.
