Grayscale announce third album Umbra and drop new single, “Dirty Bombs”

Philadelphia based alternative rock quintet Grayscale have announced their third album Umbra, the lead single from which titled “Dirty Bombs” is out now accompanied by a music video and you can watch below.

Umbra serves as their first musical outing since 2019’s Nella Vita which was met with critical acclaim. Kicking off their third album cycle with a bombastic single that is “Dirty Bombs”, an infectious and somber tune that builds up on their already established aesthetic.

Speaking about the single, lead vocalist Collin Walsh has stated that the song “touches up on the constant, excruciating need most people have to seek attention and gain approval from complete strangers, discussing life lessons learned through experience – ranging from both playfully optimistic to harshly realistic.”

Umbra is set to release on August 27th via Fearless Records and you can pre-order it here, and view the album’s official artwork and tracklist below.  For further news on Greyscale and a review of Umbra, keep an eye on Boolin Tunes.
