Going Off – Crossroads / Weak Links (Single)

Joe recommends: A shift in point of view sees a darker and brooding version of Going Off emerge on “Crossroads” and “Weak Links“, touching on themes of one’s own death and that other others, both these tracks are a gut punch lyrically and instrumentality.
Ragana – DTA (Single)

Dobbin recommends: Ragana‘s previous single “Desolation Flower” was a gristly blackened sludge track. “DTA” is another really exiting single that shows off another side to the band. It begins as a quiet disaster ballad with haunting lyrics (“I can’t feel anything I am numb“). The ending takes the same emotion to a more desparate place after a sample driven bridge. A hauntingly good track on its own, and a sign that their upcoming record Desolation’s Flower will have a strong dynamic range, both sonically and emotionally.
The Safest Ledge – Crush / I’ve Talked to God About You (Single)

Fishy recommends: Emotional post-hardcore unit The Safest Ledge make their return with “Crush / I’ve Talked To God About You”. An intriguing two-part song, it combines energetic shoegaze grooves with a ballad, taking the listener on a journey in its relatively short runtime.
