Thousand Below Announce Album “Hell Finds You Everywhere” + Single ‘Sabotage’

Thousand Below are a band I’ve always had a vested interest in; I found them with the release of their debut single, “Tradition“. Since then, they’ve put out two full-length albums and managed to continually freshen up their sound whilst maintaining the same core identity. Recently, they signed to Pale Chord Music, with whom genre titans Spiritbox have flourished. Cue 2022, which has seen Thousand Below release two of their finest songs to date in the form of “Venenosa” and “Face To Face“, and today they follow it up with another fantastic single in the form of “Sabotage“, which sports one of the best choruses of the year. Alongside this and the complimentary music video, the Californian quartet have announced their third studio album, “Hell Finds You Everywhere“, which is set for release on December 9th.

We’ve been working on this project for a long time now and we wanted to make sure we really captured the essence of what Thousand Below is to us while keeping in mind what our fans wanted to hear,” the band commented. “Our end goal was to create a record that had the perfect mix of album 1 and album 2 in hopes of getting the best of both worlds of our band’s sound, while still telling an emotional story along the way.

We wrote & recorded HFYE in the thick of the pandemic and the subject matter reflects that. Everyone went through their own personal battle with depression & maintaining one’s mental health in the last few years. Every problem, every pain, every sad moment in life was exponentially harder to deal with given the setting of the world, and we wanted to make an album that perfectly resonated with those themes. Loss in an isolated setting, substance abuse in times with little hope, and loneliness compounding on itself in the darkest of times were all subjects we felt were important to make music about.

With the album release already just around the corner, the band has also recently embarked on a stacked North American tour, A Tour of the Concrete Jungle, with Bad Omens, Dayseeker, and Make Them Suffer, which will run up to and beyond the album release.

Hell Finds You Everywhere will be released December 9th via Pale Chord Music. You can pre-order the record here, and view the tracklist and album artwork below. For a full review of Hell Finds You Everywhere and further news on Thousand Below, stick with Boolin Tunes.
