Only a day after wrapping up their tour supporting Knocked Loose and Terror, Static Dress have unveiled the release date for their debut album Rouge Carpet Disaster. The date was announced in a featured interview with publication Upset Magazine, coming a month on from the album’s initial reveal.
Starting in 2021, Static Dress fed fans clues via binary and other encryptions as part of a “Solve the mystery” campaign. This centred around three words needed to unlock Rouge Carpet Disaster‘s album pre-order page, the three words being the album’s title. On the release of the single “Di-sinTer“, the final word “disaster” was hidden within code inside the video. The recent single will feature on the album alongside “sweet.” which has released on June 3rd last year. In total, the album will comprise of 12 tracks, with the closer titled “Cubical Dialogue“. Other track names revealed were “Fleahouse“, “Courtney, just relax” and “….Maybe!!?“.
Static Dress will be supporting on Funeral For A Friend’s upcoming tour which kicks off in Cardiff on February 28th, which will likely see the live debut of new track “such.a.shame“.
