Lorna Shore Enlist New Vocalist, Release New Single + Announce EP

New Jersey blackened deathcore outfit Lorna Shore have returned with a brand new single, titled “To the Hellfire“, and announced a new EP. Watch the single’s official music video below.

…And I Return To Nothingness will be the first release from the group with new vocalist Will Ramos (Monument of a Memory, ex-A Wake In Providence) after former vocalist CJ McCreery was ejected from the group in light of sexual misconduct allegations. Ramos briefly filled in as a live vocalist for the group for a short while in early 2020 after McCreery’s ousting, and it seems the group have made the decision to keep him on as a permanent replacement.

This is the group’s first release since 2020’s acclaimed Immortal shocked the metal world with its acute sense of atmosphere, sheer brutality and mastery of the group’s signature blackened deathcore sound. “To the Hellfire” seems to continue the trend of the group venturing further into symphonic and blackened territory, being drenched in atmosphere and musical melody among its hyper-speed drumming and fantastically near-indecipherable vocals.

…And I Return To Nothingness drops August 13th via Century Media, and you can find pre-orders for the EP here, as well as the EP’s official artwork and track listing below. Make sure to check back in August for our full review of the project. For all things Lorna Shore and deathcore in general, keep it locked on Boolin Tunes.
